Hi, I am looking for a volume/volatility indicator to identify flat, stagnant markets

Hi, I am looking for a volume indicator or volatility indicator that can help me with my options strategy. I need an indicator that can help me get ahead of low volume, flat markets. I’m trading 2 ITM options either way (forex) to bet on low volatility. Effectively I’m looking for flat markets. There’s other things that go into it, my strategy really involves very little risk. I only use price action and volume. But I need more. Are there any accurate volume/volatility indicators that you can use to spot flat markets. From what I’ve heard most volatility indicators are trash.
