Hi!
Looking for financial advice. I have a mental plan but don’t have the background to ensure it’s the best plan.
Student loan debt: $ ~93,000 @ 5.5% Mortgage: 153,926 @ 2.75%
My plan: work on both debts simultaneously starting 01/2024. Student loan payment is currently $170/monthly (will likely increase 01/2024) but I intend to pay a total of $920 monthly). Mortgage is currently $1,025 and I intend to pay an extra $750 monthly.
If my calculations are right, I’d be done with student loans in August 2034 and mortgage in April 2034.
Is this the best method to go about paying off these debts?
